nJob Summary
n· These positions participate in developing and coordinating Marie’s House of Hope, Inc. program, working primarily with foster parents and adoptive families and Children in the independent living program. The position is responsible for training, fostering/adopting families, and teaching independent living skills.
nGeneral Accountabilities
nProvide direct training services to clients
nInterview prospective youths and determine appropriate placement.
nSupervised youth in placement and coordination of community resources.
nMeet weekly with youth
nOrientation of youth
nDevelopment of treatment goals
nCoordinate educational, medical, recreational, and mental health services within the community as deemed appropriate.
nWrite monthly progress reports based on the treatment goals to the referring agency.
nComplete special incident reports to Executive Director.
nProvide support and guidance to residents through weekly contact
nComplete fifty (50) hours of training per year related to professional development.
nCarry a caseload of 4-12 Residents.
nService as a Crisis intervention person for your caseload and “on Call” as assigned
nPerforms other related duties as assigned or requested.
nJob Qualifications
nMinimum Education: Bachelor or Masters Degree
nMinimum Experience: 2 Years Combined education/experience as a substitute for the minimum experience
nMinimum Field of Expertise: Social work
nPreferred Experience: 2 or 3 Years
nPreferred Field of Expertise: social work in a Business or industrial environment.
