The ideal candidate is customer focused and empathetic.Case Development is an entry level position starting at $17.50 an hour + bonus opportunityResponsibilitiesFile appeals for clients in a timely manner within the parameters of Social Security Administration's deadlinesAssist clients with questions they have regarding their paperwork and answer any other questions they may have regarding the processCommunicate with SSA (Social Security Administration) relating to your client's claimReview files for potential issues that could affect the clients claimReview and Prepare RFH (request for hearing) files for transfer to the legal teamsInteract with attorneys and present case synopsis when requiredManage case files from intake to closing under the direction of an attorneyMaintain organized case filesDaily interaction with existing and potential clients, both via telephone and emailWork directly with multiple coworkers involved in the management and support of case filesPerforms other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the businessQualificationHigh School diploma or GED requiredMust be available to work Monday-Friday from 9:00am - 5:30pmAbility to be a team player and follow proceduresMust possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, handle a fast-paced environment, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervisionStrong writing and communication skills along with attention to detailThis role is on-site, which gives you the chance to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team.
