Case Analyst

The Case Analyst is responsible for processing and managing life insurance new business cases for Third Party Distribution. This role supports the full new business lifecycle, ensuring cases are processed accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulatory and company standards. The Case Analyst partners closely with distributors, agents, and internal teams to deliver consistent, high-quality customer experience from case submission through commission payment.

What You'll Do

  • Perform assigned life insurance new business processing activities, including good order review, electronic application completion, policy preparation, cancellations/declinations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case status updates and reporting within established tracking tools and logs
  • Proactively follow up on outstanding requirements, including medical, financial, and licensing items
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of work through self-review and adherence to established procedures
  • Meet defined service level agreements (SLAs) and communicate proactively when service standards may be impacted
  • Apply best practices to drive efficient processing and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Deliver a positive and consistent customer experience throughout the new business process
  • Build and maintain effective working relationships with distributor representatives through proactive communication and timely issue resolution
  • Provide proactive case coordination and support throughout the new business lifecycle
  • Collaborate with internal partners including Sales Support, Underwriting, Agent Compensation, Inforce Policy Service, Licensing & Contracting, and Conversion teams
  • Serve as back-up support for Concierge (Case Manager) functions for assigned distributors as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and company requirements, including state regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), and privacy standards
  • Demonstrate sound judgment in resolving issues and escalate matters appropriately to management when required
  • Utilize available job aids, systems, and online resources to resolve questions and issues efficiently
  • Complete cross-training on all new business processing functions to support business continuity and develop a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end process
  • Develop and maintain working knowledge of life insurance products, illustrations, and New Business age and amount requirements

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelors degree, or equivalent combination of education and related experience, preferred
  • Customer service and administrative experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently while contributing as part of a collaborative team

Salary Range: $46,500-$66,500

Overtime eligible: Nonexempt

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Sales bonus eligible: No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.

This role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprinting.
