Duties
Provide direct patient care for the diagnosis and treatment of kidney-related conditions. Diagnose kidney diseases through various diagnostic tests, including blood tests, urine tests, imaging studies, and kidney biopsies. Treat conditions that impact the kidney, such as chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, and nephrotic syndrome, as well as manage complications of kidney disease, such as hypertension, electrolyte imbalances, and anemia. Prepare consultative and procedural reports and maintain all medical records. Provide supervisory oversight of clinical care to hospital support staff, as appropriate. Adhere to facility and company policies, relevant clinical practice guidelines, national statutes and regulations, HIPAA, and any other applicable medical practice policies.
Requirements
Must have a Medical degree or equivalent; completion of residency in Internal Medicine; completion of fellowship in Nephrology; must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Nephrology; and must have a valid Nevada medical license or eligibility for licensure. travel to regional locations less than 20% of the time
