Carrier Sales Representative

We are partnering with an established freight brokerage looking to add to their TL Carrier Sales Team.

Job Title: Carrier Sales Representative

Location: Oak Brook, IL - On-site Daily - Flexible schedule/hours

Compensation: $50k base + uncapped commission, no negative commission caryover

Responsibilities:

• Source, vet, and build carrier relationships to cover truckload freight
• Book and negotiate rates for contracted and spot freight
• Maintain consistent communication with the carrier from pick up to deliver
• Provide timely updates to the internal customer sales team regarding any escalations and ensure on time delivery
• Log updates in the TMS in real time

Requirements:

• 1+ years of Carrier Sales experience within a 3pl brokerage preferred
• 2+ years of 3pl brokerage experience preferred
• Experience with FTL Dry, FTL Reefer, Flatbed, and Power-Only modes
• Hunter mindset and self-motivated to win
• Reliable daily transportation to Oak Brook (required)
