Position Summary Perform carpentry to hospital buildings, furnishings, equipment and fixtures as necessary.

Qualifications Experience 8-10 years trade related experience. Licensure/Qualifications Valid Connecticut drivers license. Duties require a broad knowledge of the carpentry trade or equivalent vocational training equivalent to a high school education. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements Maintains, repairs and constructs hospital buildings, structures and furniture built of a wide variety of materials to ensure good appearance and optimal functioning. Construct partitions, hang doors, install lock-sets, install drop ceilings, also sheet-rocking and taping. Read prints, plan lay out and construct according to hospital needs.
