Basic Function:
To provide carpentry knowledge/skills on our job sites working for our Project Superintendents, Renovation Supervisors or Repair Supervisors. This position does include frequent travel.

To provide carpentry knowledge/skills on our job sites working for our Project Superintendents, Renovation Supervisors or Repair Supervisors. This position does include frequent travel.
JOB DUTIES:
- Follow all safety regulations
- Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor.
- Work with carpentry crews on the following types of activities:
- Minor concrete work.
- Finish carpentry items such as installing casework and trim.
- Doors and hardware
- Miscellaneous carpentry items such as temporary enclosures, stairs, railings, etc.
- Building layout.
- General construction activities such as:
- Use of man lifts and forklifts
- Hand and power tools
- Repair work including various repair activities such as hanging drywall, painting, and caulking
- Welding (not mandatory)
Position Requirements:
- Read and comprehend construction drawings
- Experience with operating forklifts (Preferred)
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Strong work ethic, reliable, punctual
- Proven general construction experience with more than 3 years in carpentry.
- Travel is expected
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 100 lbs. on a regular basis
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods
- Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather
- Ability to perform physical labor
- High school degree or equivalent; trade school (Preferred)
- OSHA 10 (Preferred)
- Good organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Must be able to work independently
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Professional attitude
- Reports to the Project Supervisor.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
