Carpenter / Service TechnicianPay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hourSchedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PMShift Perks: 1-hour lunch break plus two additional 15-minute breaks each dayJob OverviewWe are seeking a dependable and hardworking Carpenter / Service Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on, multi-functional position responsible for preparing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading mobile office trailers and related units. The ideal candidate will have experience with general carpentry and maintenance work and be comfortable using hand and power tools throughout the workday.No single trade experience is required. We are looking for candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and experience in areas such as carpentry, drywall, flooring, painting, ceiling tiles, light electrical work, pressure washing, and general repair work.ResponsibilitiesInspect mobile office trailers and identify repair needsPerform carpentry, framing, and finish workRepair and install drywall and ceiling tilesReplace flooring and complete minor flooring repairsPaint interiors and exteriors as neededPerform basic plumbing repairs and fixture replacementsChange light fixtures, outlets, switches, and other basic electrical componentsPressure wash trailers and outdoor equipmentRead and follow floor plans, work orders, and customer specificationsPrepare trailers for delivery by ensuring they are clean, safe, and functionalLoad and unload furniture, materials, and equipmentUse hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyPerform general yard maintenance and keep work areas organizedAccurately measure and cut materials using a tape measureMaintain a safety-first mindset while completing all tasksRequirementsExperience with carpentry or general construction/maintenance workAbility to read and accurately use a tape measureAbility to read, write, and speak EnglishComfortable using hand tools and power tools dailyAbility to follow directions, work orders, and floor plansStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skillsAbility to lift and carry 50+ pounds throughout the dayReliable transportation and strong attendance recordAbility to work both independently and as part of a teamPreferred QualificationsExperience with drywall repair and installationExperience replacing ceiling tilesExperience with painting and pressure washingFamiliarity with basic plumbing repairsFamiliarity with basic electrical work, including light fixtures and outletsConstruction, framing, welding, or maintenance experienceWork EnvironmentThis position is based primarily in a non-climate-controlled yard environment working on mobile office trailers and related units. Employees regularly work outdoors and may be exposed to varying weather conditions.
