Carpenter: Forreston, IllinoisOur customer in Forreston, Illinois is seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join their team. We’re recruiting carpenters to work full-time on 1st shift. As a carpenter, you will play a key role in residential and commercial building projects, including remodeling work and deck construction.
If you have hands-on experience with building, remodeling, or structural projects, this could be the opportunity for you!Responsibilities of the Carpenter:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine deck or remodel layout.Measure, cut, and assemble wood, composite, or metal materials for construction projects.Install posts, beams, trusses, joists, railings, and decking boards based on design plans.Use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to construct and finish structures.Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations.Communicate effectively with supervisors or clients to ensure expectations are met.Perform site clean-up and general maintenance upon project completion.Work on a variety of projects including remodeling, bathrooms, decks, and trusses.Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications:Prior hands-on carpentry or remodeling experience required.Experience with remodeling, trusses, decks, and bathrooms, preferred.Strong knowledge of tools, materials, and building techniques.Ability to read blueprints and follow specifications accurately.Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more consistently throughout the day.Comfortable standing for extended periods (up to 10 hours/day).Must be dependable and able to work independently or as part of a team.Reliable transportation is required.Pay for Carpenter: $18.00–$20.00/hour depending on experience.Carpenter Benefits:Health insurance401(k) with company matchPaid weeklyDirect depositPaid trainingType: 1st Shift, Full-timeSchedule: Monday – Friday from 7:00AM – 4:30PM
