Carpenter - FormanAmentum is looking for a Carpenter Forman to join our team in Springfield, VA! The Carpenter Forman performs carpentry duties necessary to maintain building structures and finishes in good repair.Must be a US Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.Duties and Responsibilities:Repairing or installing new walls, partitions, floor tiles, ceiling tiles, and systems furniture.Also included are drywall patching, painting, and adjusting and installing door hardware.Work involves most of the following: planning and laying out of work from blueprints, drawings, models, or verbal instructions, using a variety of carpenter's hand tools, portable power tools and standard measuring instruments and making standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work;
and selecting materialsnecessary for the work.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.Experience and Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent.Formal or informal education or training which ensures the ability to read and write at a level necessary for successful job performance.Minimum of fifteen years of carpentry experience required.Ability to lift up to 45 lbsComputer Skills: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferredNeed experience with using Archibus system.Compensation Details:$35-39 per hourAmentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
