Now Hiring: Carpenter Apprentice
Location: Piqua, OH
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Pay: $2-26/hour Paid Weekly
Type: Full-Time
Gillmann Services, Inc. is currently seeking a Carpenter Apprentice in Piqua, Ohio .
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions from supervisors and construction managers
- Operate tools safely and accurately, including: table saws, drills, sanders, routers and planers
- Work from project plans and blueprints
- Trim, sand, and polish wood components to exact specifications
- Adhere to all safety procedures and health regulations
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of construction and woodworking principles
- Prior experience in finish work, or carpentry
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately
- Must own basic hand tools (e.g., square, pencil, measuring tools)
- Experience operating routers and planers required
- Physically able to stand, bend, squat, and lift 30-75 lbs
- Able to work independently or as part of a team
