Responsibilities:
\u2022 Lead and manage a carpentry crew on residential construction projects.
\u2022 Perform rough carpentry tasks including framing, backing, and blocking.
\u2022 Complete finish carpentry work including trim, cabinets, and door installation.
\u2022 Read and work from blueprints and layouts accurately.
\u2022 Plan daily work activities and keep projects on schedule.
\u2022 Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
\u2022 Coordinate with other trades to maintain project timelines and efficiency.
\u2022 Utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment safely and effectively.
Essential Skills:
\u2022 5+ years of residential carpentry experience.
\u2022 Strong experience in both rough and finish carpentry.
\u2022 Previous experience leading crews or managing construction projects.
\u2022 Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
\u2022 Strong attention to detail, reliability, and pride in quality workmanship.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
\u2022 Experience with door and trim installation.
\u2022 Strong problem-solving abilities on the job site.
\u2022 Comfortable using a wide variety of tools and equipment.
\u2022 Ability to effectively communicate with crews, subcontractors, and supervisors.
