Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Carpenters for projects located in the Altoona, PA area . This is a first shift opportunity, and the pay rate is $26-32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Construct the skeleton of a building, including floors (joists), walls (studs), and complex roof systems (rafters and trusses)

Interpret advanced architectural drawings, site coordinates, and building specifications to ensure accurate layout and execution

Use advanced tools like laser levels, transits, and total stations to establish building lines, verify trueness (plumb and level), and set coordinates

Construct and install complex forms for concrete foundations, walls, columns, and elevated parking decks

Design and build freestanding, circular, or winding stairs while adhering to strict safety codes for rise and run
-
High-precision installation of crown molding, baseboards, door/window casings, and custom cabinetry
