Caretaker/Attendant for Intellectually and Physically Disabled Adult

This is a caretaker position for an adult with intellectual and physical disabilities. The caretaker will work directly with the client and have hours approved by the employer of record at the end of each shift in accordance with electronic visit verification (EVV) regulations. The caretaker must have a mobile phone capable of downloading the app needed to record and submit shifts. Further details are given below:

Duties:
- Assist with feeding, bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily care for client
- Assist the client by performing laundry duties (including changing of bed linens)
- Administration of daily medication to client
- Maintain a clean and stress-free environment for the client
- Use of adaptive equipment to transfer the client from bed/bath/wheelchair
- Lifting and positioning of the client
- Ensuring physical safety of client, including in the event of a seizure (client is epileptic)
- Accompany client to doctor's appointments and other outings
- Assist with other various ADLs not specified

Qualifications
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Must have minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be eligible to work in the United States

Preferences
- Official CPR and First Aid Training
- At least one year experience working with intellectually and/or physically disabled adults

Pay: $13.88 per hour
Hours: Flexible
