nPrinciple Accountabilities:
nProvide training to clients who are participating in Project Search internships or employed in competitive employment.
nReinforce the essential tasks/duties/core skills of the job/business.
nBuilds natural support.
nReinforces business culture and protocol to the student intern.
nTeaches safe practices according to the work environment.
nModels’ appropriate workplace behavior
nCommunicate with community businesses regarding client’s performance on a regular basis,
nand assist clients with career-advancing opportunities.
nAssist in developing job shadows, internships, work evaluations, and job placements, as
nneeded.
nDevelop and maintain individualized program plans, including monitoring progress, providing
nfeedback, and changing plans when necessary.
nPerforms Job/Task Analysis of the worksites and competitive job.
nOrganize, arrange, and assist with the implementation of individual stuffings.
nActive communication with funding sources, family, clients, and other team members.
nBuilds natural support and educates businesses on disability awareness.
nProvide follow-along support to employed clients.
nCoordinate funding for clients, including monitoring hours of services provided.
nMonitor each client’s progression through the program, including documentation of client’s
nactivities, goal achievement, and job placement opportunities.
nRecommends modifications/job accommodations (label cabinets, simplifies written instructions,
netc.) necessary to the successful completion of the job.
nTrain client in the use of public transportation, including routes, reading schedules, and calling for
nassistance and fares.
nProvide transportation services when needed.
nOther duties as assigned.

nThe interview process consists of 1st phone interview with the Recruitment and Talent Development Coordinator and 2nd interview with the Department Specific Team Leader.
nThe schedule offered is for Full-Time.
nRequirements
n• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field and/or equivalent combination of relevant
neducation and experience.
n• Certified in CPR and First Aid within the first 90 days.
n• Ability to successfully complete Mandatory Reporter of Child and Dependent Adult Abuse
nwithin the first 30 days
n• Ability to obtain Job Coaching Certificate.
n• Ability to obtain and maintain an Iowa driver’s license.
n• Must be insurable under Easterseals vehicle insurance policy.
n• Access to Reliable Transportation for regular participation in work
n• Desire to work in a team environment.
n• Ability to work under pressure, maintain accuracy, and meet deadlines.
n• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formats.
n• Ability to work with a wide variety of people, with and without disabilities.
n• Have access to reliable transportation.
n• Ability to operate a computer and navigate through the Easterseals database. Experience in word
nprocessing software; Word and Excel preferred.
n• Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and lift.
n• Successfully complete Skills system, Deescalation, and Motivational Interviewing training with
nin the first year of employment
n• Track and maintain position certifications and agency-required training
nSalary Description
n$15.00-$17.25 per hour
