Position Summary

Our Care Partners are essential to the community. They provide compassionate, personalized direct care to residents, supporting activities of daily living and ensuring comfort, safety, and independence while honoring privacy and dignity. Care Partners work collaboratively to create a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring) while following community protocols and state regulations.
  • Prioritize independence and emotional support through compassionate care, engagement, and companionship.
  • Encourage participation in life‑enrichment activity programs.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties such as making beds and tidying rooms.
  • Promote open communication between healthcare professionals, families, residents, and staff.

Candidate Qualifications

Education

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current caregiver training/certification per state requirements (CNA, GNA, PCA, DCA), or willingness and ability to obtain one.
  • Current First Aid and CPR license or ability to obtain one.

Experience, Competencies, and Skills

  • At least 12 months of experience in a professional caregiving setting.
  • Memory‑care experience is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication skills and a teamwork mindset.
  • Positive attitude, empathy, patience, and commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect.
  • Attention to detail, physical stamina, and high integrity.
  • Willingness to participate in weekend rotation.
