Care Manager RN at Providence Saint John's Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is Per Diem and will work 8‑hour Day shifts.

The Inpatient Registered Nurse (RN) Care Manager provides professional, comprehensive, patient‑centric care management services for at‑risk patients in an acute care environment. Accountabilities include assessment and planning, coordination of care, resource utilization management, discharge planning, documentation of interventions, regulatory compliance, and patient advocacy. The goal is to ensure appropriate use of healthcare resources throughout the continuum.

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing (degree/diploma) upon hire
• California Registered Nurse license upon hire
• 2 years of acute‑care experience in a medical‑surgical or inpatient setting
• 1 year of experience in care management or utilization review in any setting, OR
• Successful completion of the TIPS program or Case Management Orientation Program upon hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing or higher within 3 years of hire
• Case‑management certification (ACM or CCM)

Compensation

The wage range for this position is $57.28 - $88.92 per hour. This range reflects base pay; additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
