Job Summary
Under the assigned supervisor, the CSSO Supervisor is responsible for overseeing, directly supervising, and coaching Care Coordinators in accordance with program guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Manages the CSSO Care Coordinator team
  2. Manage the referral intake for the program daily
  3. Maintains staff-to-supervisor ratio of 8:1 (never to exceed 10 Care Coordinators)
  4. Provides oversight of (Care Coordination Services Wrap Around) and CCSI(Care Coordination Services Intensive)
  5. Provides oversight of FSP and SFSP services and staff per program guidelines
  6. Position only supports Pathway programs
  7. Manages case assignments and intakes in order to ensure an equal distribution of cases and appropriate staff-to-client ratios as outlined by the funding source
  8. Oversees case responsibilities and provides guidance in case planning
  9. Provides weekly supervision to staff with a focus on Wrap, system of care approach and trauma-informed
  10. Reviews all written documents created by staff, such as assessments, treatment planning, notes, and other program documentation as required
  11. Reviews and updates funder policies and procedures according to state requirements, training staff on their implementation
  12. Reviews, ensures consistency, and daily filing of case documentation
  13. Ensures effective management of significant events and crises by staff
  14. Completes required outcome reports
  15. Participates in required meetings and trainings with the funder
  16. Provides staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, support, and professional development
  17. Monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with the budget
  18. Ensures adherence to funder contract
  19. Ensures billing accuracy and timeliness; completes billing procedures for private contracts when necessary
  20. Handles client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral complaints and grievances
  21. Conducts regular unit/team meetings
  22. Participates in collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and presence within the community in order to create community linkages and opportunities
  23. Participates in public speaking engagements to promote agency programs and services
  24. Participates in agency management meetings and work groups
  25. Works with the CQI team to ensure quality of services, the achievement of program outcomes and to create documentation to enhance programming and to meet funder requirements
  26. Provides direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff
  27. Ensures adequate client contact is maintained in accordance with program guidelines and that the minimum required contact hours are achieved each month
  28. Ensures that all staff are monitoring child and client safety and are appropriately responsive to any situation posing a risk to, or by, a client
  29. Completes and submits performance appraisals in a timely manner
  30. Maintains a positive organizational culture
  31. Oversees interns
  32. Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Education:
  • Master's in Human Services or related field, License preferred: LCPC, LCSW, LSOE, etc.
Experience:
  • Three plus years of related experience in the field
Certification/License:
  • QMHP
Other:
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance

  1. Proficient computer skills in a Microsoft Suite environment and adaptive skills to expand software application skills as needed
  2. Highly organized, yet flexible, and can handle multiple priorities/projects well; ability to manage tight deadlines
  3. Ability to function well in a team environment
  4. Ability to demonstrate project management, analytical, and presentation skills
  5. Resourceful in researching issues and developing solutions with minimal supervision
  6. Excellent interpersonal and effective communication skills (verbal, written, active listening)

  9. Ability to exercise discretion and ensure confidentiality
