Every day, you'll independently operate all ancillary equipment in the lab including but not limited to: IVUS, pressure wire, rotablator, IMPELLA, atherectomy devices, laser and angiojet. You will demonstrate competencies in scrubbing techniques of all diagnostic and interventional procedures, utilize good radiation safety practices and you will make a positive impact on internal and external customers. To be successful in this role, you'll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing clear results for timely and accurate diagnosis.Assists physicians in the performance of diagnostic cardiology testing.Transports patients as needed.Accurately and completely documents procedures including all pertinent clinical manifestations.Provides Pre- and Post-test instructions to patients and families.Organizes and maintains test tracings and other records.Maintains department equipment and notifies manager of needs.RequiredAssociate Science Degree and/or certificate of Achievement - Cardiovascular Technology Program.Four (4) years experience in Cardiovascular Technology or related field, upon hireBasic Life Support - CPR, upon hireFounded in 1912, Dignity Health - St. John's Regional Medical Center is a 265-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in Oxnard, California.
