- Join a hospital-employed practice with two existing CV Surgeons
- The Frye Heart Center is an integrated Cardiology service line that consists of Interventional, Structural Heart, EP and Cardiologists
- Affiliated with the Duke Heart Network, the first in western North Carolina
- Access to Duke Heart Center's current training, staff education, and evidence-based guidelines
- Position is available to both Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced techniques in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), including endoscopic vein harvest and multi-arterial grafting
- Perform arrhythmia surgery
- Perform endovascular surgery
- Perform thoracic aortic surgery, including aortic aneurysm repair, thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR), and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Perform valvular repair / replacement
- Provide advanced diagnostics and treatment of benign lung conditions and lung cancer, including Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), Lobectomy, Mediastinoscopy, Navigational bronchoscopy, and Wedge resections
- Manage pericardial fluid collections
- Manage pneumothorax and pleural fluid collections

Requirements
- BE/BC Cardiovascular Surgeon
- Experience preferred but not required
- Preferred Fellowship in transcatheter valve and complex aortic surgery
