CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline and CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their expanding team in Corpus Christi, TX. The role involves building an integrated delivery network for cardiovascular surgery, providing comprehensive care to heart patients, and participating in program development opportunities. The successful candidate will join a robust, Chest Pain Accredited cardiovascular program at the premier tertiary care center for the Coastal Bend.

Practice Info

• Specialty: Cardiovascular or Cardiothoracic Surgery (CV or CT Surgeon)
• Scope: Bread-and-butter CV surgery, structural heart, Watchman, and EP support
• Growth Opportunity: Opportunity to build and shape the practice from the ground up, including the potential development of a local robotic thoracic program
• Support Team: Cardiac First Assistants (FAs) with an opportunity to transition to a PA/APC model in OR, and APC model for support for floor rounding and clinics
• Referral Base: Extremely strong internal referral network alongside a 600,000 catchment area
• Facilities: Dedicated CVORs and team, CV ICU, single partnership for ICU, Hospitalist Medicine, and Emergency Medicine, plus a dynamic teaching facility featuring active Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine residency programs and a brand-new multi-million-dollar Hybrid OR at our Shoreline Campus

Requirements

• Must possess an unrestricted Texas Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the State of Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in CV or CT Surgery
