Cardiovascular ICU Physician

AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care at Central Florida is seeking a dynamic physician to join its expanding critical care team, specifically within the Cardiovascular ICU at AdventHealth Orlando Campus. This role involves working as part of a multi-disciplinary team of intensivists, cardiac surgeons, and anesthesiologists to develop the Cardiovascular Critical Care Program. The position offers an opportunity to lead a 28-bed CVICU within a nationally ranked, high-volume cardiovascular program.

Practice Info

• Part of a multi-disciplinary team in the Cardiovascular ICU at AdventHealth Orlando Campus.
• Team members will be joining a highly advanced team of intensivists, cardiac surgeons, and anesthesiologists.
• Physicians will be leading a 28-bed CVICU.
• The Cardiovascular program is a nationally ranked program and high volume center (#36 on US world News).
• Employment opportunity with AdventHealth Medical Group Critical Care, part of an established group of more than 80 physicians and APPs.
• Working within one of the busiest cardiac and thoracic surgery hospitals in the country.

Responsibilities

• Be a part of an expanding critical care team.
• Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop the Cardiovascular Critical Care Program.
• Lead a 28-bed CVICU.
• Provide patient care including, but not limited to, valvular surgeries, CABG, aortic dissection repairs and thoracic surgeries.

Shift & Schedule

• Full Time schedule would consist of 14 shifts per month, inclusive of nights.
• Flexible shift model.

Requirements

• Critical Care fellowship training.
• Prior cardiac anesthesia training, or dedicated time in a CVICU is preferred.
• Physicians must be board certified/eligible in the subspecialty of Critical Care Medicine.
