Job Profile Summary


The specialist provides professional care in invasive cardiac, pediatric, and peripheral laboratories in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. This role may involve working in an adult procedural role in the Cardiac Cath Lab or EP Lab, or a pediatric procedural role encompassing both areas.


Major Responsibilities



  • Work in high-pressure situations requiring prolonged concentration and critical thinking.

  • Perform tasks involving walking, standing, sitting, lifting, reaching, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.

  • Lift and support up to 50 pounds in handling patients, medical equipment, and supplies.

  • Maintain fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.

  • Possess intact senses of sight, hearing, smell, touch, manual dexterity, and good eye-hand coordination.

  • Stand and walk while wearing 10-20 lbs lead radiation protection aprons.

  • Respond quickly to changes in patient and/or unit conditions.

  • Handle potential exposure to radiation, secretions, and blood in confined work areas.

  • Travel may be required.


Schedule Notes



  • Certification required: RCIS or RTR.

  • Compensation range: $38.20 - $57.30 based on years of experience.

  • Work hours: Varies, with shifts from (10-hour shifts) and plans to move to 12-hour shifts ).

  • Hours per week: 36-40 hours plus on-call duties.

  • Relocation bonus available based on eligibility, applicable for distances greater than 50 miles from the hospital.
