Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician

Pay Rate: $
Schedule: 24‑hour call coverage (7:00 AM–7:00 AM)
Practice Setting: Inpatient
Types of Cases:
- Standard cardiac surgery
- Coronary artery bypass grafting
- Extracorporeal membrane oxygenation cannulation
- Aortic dissections
- Thoracic trauma surgery
- Inpatient and outpatient consults
- Hospital rounds
- Cardiothoracic surgery call coverage
Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days
Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic
Certifications Required:
- Board Certification in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration highly preferred
Licensure Required: Active Nebraska medical license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Letter of Qualification at submission
