Job Description
Cardiothoracic Surgeon - St. Vincent Regional Hospital, Billings, MT
Responsibilities
- Provide cardiovascular surgical care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists, interventional cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and vascular surgeons.
- Perform complex cardiac and thoracic procedures in the OR, including surgeries in hybrid and biplane operating suites.
- Mentor and support surgical PAs and assist with operative planning and patient management.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate documentation using EPIC EMR and participate in patient care rounds.
Qualifications
- MD or DO from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school.
- Residency or fellowship in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery.
- Board certification or eligibility in the appropriate discipline.
- Valid Montana medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
- Completion of Intermountain Health credentialing process.
- Passion for CT surgery and commitment to patient‑centered care.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary $957,000 plus production incentives.
- Quality bonus up to $75,000 based on performance metrics.
- Incentives: $25,000 starting bonus, relocation bonus up to $20,000, student loan repayment bonus up to $100,000, PSLF eligibility.
