We are hiring a dynamic and experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join our team near Charlotte, North Carolina. Our team consists of two highly experienced cardiac surgeons and four advanced practice providers who work collaboratively and share all duties. This cohesive environment provides ample operating room time (OR).
Scope of Duties
- OR first assistant
- Vein harvesting (EVH) for coronary artery bypass grafts
- Perioperative and postoperative patient care in the intensive care unit (ICU) and step‑down unit
Qualifications
- Experience in vein harvesting (EVH) is required
- Radial artery experience preferred
- Ability to work a Monday–Friday schedule with 1:4 weekday call and 1:4 weekend call, followed by a day off after call
- Strong teamwork skills and willingness to collaborate with surgeons and advanced practice providers
