This 311-bed hospital maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support locum tenens cardiothoracic surgery coverage across operating room settings. The facility holds a Level 3 trauma designation and utilizes EPIC EMR to support coordinated clinical documentation and patient care delivery. On-site resources are in place to facilitate continuity of cardiovascular surgical services throughout each assigned coverage period.

The Nurse Practitioner will provide cardiothoracic surgery coverage in an operating room setting on a day shift basis, with call coverage required as a component of this full-time assignment beginning in December. Clinical responsibilities are limited to cardiovascular cases and do not include CVT cases. Duties include assisting with vein harvesting, providing surgical closing assistance, and managing 2-6 consults per day. All clinical documentation is maintained using EPIC EMR.
