PracticeSetting:

• Inpatient, OR and Call coverage

Schedule:

• 4 10-hour shifts per week
• Will consider 7 on/7 off schedule
• 1:4 rotating night call
• 1:5 rotating weekend coverage with call

Credentialing:

90 days

Requirements:

• Board certification
• AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum1-year Cardiothoracic Surgery experience or equivalent

Job Responsibilities (Generalized):

• Conductcomprehensive patient assessments to diagnose and treata variety of medical conditions
• Developand implement individualized treatment plans
• Orderand interpret diagnostic tests
• Prescribemedications and manage chronic conditions
• Providepatient education and counseling on healthy lifestyle choices.
• Performprocedures as permitted by state regulations and APP specialty
• Collaboratewith physicians and other healthcare providers to ensurecoordinated care
• Documentpatient care accurately and thoroughly

• Strongclinical knowledge and assessment skills
• Excellentcommunication and interpersonal skills to build rapportwith patients
• Proficiencyin performing physical examinations and proceduresrelevant to their specialty
• Criticalthinking and problem-solving skills to diagnose andmanage complex medical conditions
• Timemanagement skills to efficiently manage a patient workload
• Abilityto work independently while also collaboratingeffectively with a healthcare team

Requirements

Education:

• Masterof Science in Nursing (MSN) degree focused on an NPspecialty (e.g., family practice, adult-gerontology,pediatrics)
• Masterof Science in Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) degreefrom an accredited program

Licenses& Certifications:

• Activeand unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse(APRN) license in Montana
• Nationalcertification as an NP in a relevant specialty area by arecognized certifying body (e.g., American Academy ofNurse Practitioners (AANP))
• Activeand unencumbered physician assistant (PA) license in Montana
• Nationalcertification from the National Commission onCertification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)

Experience:

• Whilespecific requirements may vary, most locum APP positionsprefer candidates with at least one year of experiencein a clinical setting relevant to their specialty

Travel:

If you residegreater than 50 miles from the facility you areeligible for travel benefits. You will have yourtravel and lodging arranged by our travel departmentand paid for in full.
