Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Houston Methodist The Woodlands is seeking a full-time Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their expanding team. This role offers a highly skilled surgeon the opportunity to deliver exceptional, patient-centered care within a nationally recognized health system. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise across the full spectrum of cardiothoracic diseases, including adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and robotic-assisted procedures.

• The Houston Methodist The Woodlands Hospital campus is expanding to meet the needs of a rapidly growing community.
• The hospital completed a $250 million capital expansion in 2022, increasing bed capacity to 300, expanding the emergency center to 45 rooms, and increasing operating rooms to 25.
• This is the second phase in the master plan to expand to a 400-bed full-service tertiary care facility.
• Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group enables physicians to maintain autonomy with respect to their clinical practice while growing their practice within an academic environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care.
• Diagnose and manage the full spectrum of cardiothoracic diseases, including adult cardiac surgery, thoracic surgery, minimally invasive techniques, and robotic-assisted procedures.

Requirements

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Hold (or be in the process of obtaining) an active Texas Medical License.
