This Level III facility maintains established clinical infrastructure and protocols to support locum tenens cardiothoracic surgery coverage. The facility provides on-site resources designed to facilitate coordinated surgical care delivery throughout each assigned coverage period. Established workflows are in place to support continuity of service for the cardiothoracic surgery service line.

The assignment area is situated within a destination known for its historic downtown district, arts scene, and access to outdoor recreation. Clinicians on assignment will find options for ziplining, golf cart city tours, and walking tours of the area. The surrounding region provides connections to natural attractions including Beaver Lake, the Buffalo River, and Table Rock Lake, as well as nearby communities with their own points of interest. A range of dining, shopping, spa, and nightlife options are available within the city itself, providing diverse options for leisure during time away from clinical duties.

The cardiothoracic surgeon will provide surgical coverage on a day shift basis, with 24-hour call coverage required as a component of this assignment. Scheduled clinic hours are included as part of the clinical responsibilities throughout each assigned coverage period. The clinician must maintain availability to respond to cardiothoracic surgical cases throughout each designated call period. Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery is required for consideration.
