Jackson & Coker is seeking a Board Certified Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a locums opportunity in Nebraska. This ongoing assignment involves 24-hour call coverage at a Level I Trauma Center, focusing on cardiac surgery with some thoracic trauma. The role requires expertise in standard cardiac surgery procedures, ECMO cannulation, and aortic dissections, supported by a dedicated CVOR team and APP coverage.
Practice Info
- Level I Trauma Center
- Approx. 150 heart cases annually
- APP coverage: 8 AM – 4:30 PM
- Surgical PAs cover operative call (Also for EVH)
- NPs assist with weekend rounding
- Full CVOR support including anesthesia with TEE capability

Requirements
- Board Certified in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
- Active Nebraska license or IMLC
- Active ACLS
- Active BLS
- Active DEA
- Case logs from past 12 months
- Must be comfortable performing thoracic procedures
