Tenet Healthcare and Detroit Medical Center are seeking an experienced, board-certified or board-eligible Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join an established group in Metro-Detroit. This full-time employed position with Detroit Medical Group/Tenet Physician Resources offers the opportunity to practice across a dynamic multi-hospital network, including a Level I Trauma Center. The role is supported by the infrastructure and resources of a major health system, providing a strong collegial environment for complex cases.
Practice Info
- Award-winning multi-hospital system with Level I and II Trauma Centers, tertiary adult and pediatric referral centers, and community hospitals
- Primary site at Sinai Grace Hospital, with additional coverage at Harper Hospital and Detroit Receiving Hospital (Adult Central Campus)
- Support staff includes 2 CT Surgical PAs available to assist with rounding and call
- All DMC facilities offer easy access and free parking
Responsibilities
- Outpatient clinic 1-2 days per week
- OR time driven by caseload and ER consults
- Shared weekend and holiday call with another CT surgeon
- Level I Trauma Thoracic coverage
- Inpatient rounding, including ICU units

Shift & Schedule
- Full-time employed position
- Monday-Friday

Requirements
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Active Michigan medical license, or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 3 years outside of training
