Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory, NC, a Lifepoint Health facility, is seeking a dedicated BE/BC Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join its hospital-employed practice. - Hospital-employed practice with two existing CV Surgeons
- The Frye Heart Center is an integrated Cardiology service line that consists of Interventional, Structural Heart, EP and Cardiologists
- Position is available to both Cardiothoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons
- Frye Regional Medical Center is a 355-bed hospital
- FRMC is part of the Duke Lifepoint healthcare system
- The Frye Heart Center is the first Duke Health heart affiliate in western North Carolina
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced techniques in coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), including endoscopic vein harvest and multi-arterial grafting
- Conduct arrhythmia surgery
- Perform endovascular surgery
- Execute thoracic aortic surgery, including aortic aneurysm repair, thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR), and Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR)
- Perform valvular repair / replacement procedures
- Provide advanced diagnostics and treatment of benign lung conditions and lung cancer, including Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), Lobectomy, Mediastinoscopy, Navigational bronchoscopy, and Wedge resections
- Manage pericardial fluid collections, pneumothorax, and pleural fluid collections
- Perform minimally invasive video assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS)
