Responsibilities
- Provide 24-hour call coverage across inpatient, operating room, and emergency room settings
- Remain available for emergent consultations and operative cases throughout each assigned call period
- Perform adult cardiac and thoracic surgical procedures, including CABG, valve repair/replacement, emergency cardiac procedures, thoracic procedures, and lung resections
- Manage thoracic trauma
- Provide postoperative patient management
- Conduct inpatient consultations
