Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Carondelet Medical Group (CMG) is seeking a full-time, employed Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their leading heart team in Tucson, AZ. This is an opportunity to step into a well-established practice within one of Southern Arizona's most respected multi-specialty groups. The role offers a collaborative cardiovascular team environment and access to state-of-the-art facilities, focusing on exceptional patient care.

Practice Info

• Part of Carondelet Medical Group (CMG), a multi-specialty group with over 100 providers
• Collaborative cardiovascular team including interventional cardiology, advanced heart valve therapies, and electrophysiology
• Access to a hybrid OR and robotic surgical platform
• Dedicated support team including a practice manager, medical assistant, and surgery scheduler
• Centralized billing, credentialing, and HR resources
• Affiliated with St. Mary's Hospital, a 2024 AHA Stroke Gold Plus Award recipient and designated Cardiac Receiving Center

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care
• Perform 5-7 surgeries weekly
• Participate in shared, compensated call coverage across two facilities alongside one other CT surgeon

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time
• Clinic schedule: 1-2 days per week with approximately 12 patients per day
• Surgical schedule: 3-4 OR days per week

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Eligible for Arizona medical licensure
• J-1 or H-1B visa sponsorship available
