Cardiothoracic Radiologist

The University of Rochester Medical Center is seeking an ABR certified/eligible radiologist with expertise in cardiothoracic imaging for a full-time faculty appointment within its Department of Imaging Sciences. This role involves strong clinical skills, active participation in teaching, research, and service, joining a collegial team in both hospital and outpatient settings. • Department of Imaging Sciences has approximately 90 radiologists and 25-30 residents and fellows
• Technical highlights include state-of-the-art information technology, 3T MRI, a clinical PET/MRI, Dual Energy CT and digital PET/CT
• Department's PACS system is integrated into a comprehensive electronic clinical information system

Responsibilities

• Provide consultation for all facets of cardiothoracic imaging (plain film, CT, and MRI)
• Actively participate in teaching, research, and service
• Actively participate in fellow, resident, and medical student education
• Conduct clinical patient care
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences
• Engage in scholarly activity

Compensation

• Salary Range: $475,000-$525,000
• Compensation will be commensurate with experience
• Clinical incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time faculty appointment

Requirements

• ABR certified/eligible radiologist
• Fellowship training in cardiothoracic imaging or commensurate experience
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
• Have or be eligible to obtain a New York State Medical License
• Fellowship Trained (explicitly stated in qualifications)
