Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison

Responsibilities:

• Engage cardiologists/endocrinologists/healthcare professionals/stakeholders to educate on clinical/scientific evidence and advance the treatment landscape.
• Educate on RNAi technology and cardiometabolic disease areas including hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
• Synthesize and communicate clinical/scientific insights to internal stakeholders.
• Attend and present at scientific congresses/meetings; stay current on cardiometabolic trends.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries per MSL compliance standards.
• Support company-sponsored clinical trials via investigator site engagement.
• Support speaker training and ensure speakers are up to date with evolving data.
• Support national/regional/local congress activities (including Opinion Leader engagement, session coverage, booth, and debriefs).
• Monitor/analyze scientific publications, clinical trials, and competitive landscape.
• Maintain clinical/scientific expertise and industry business acumen.
• Develop territory-specific Opinion Leader (OL) and account plans.
• Communicate information clearly; document MSL accomplishments.
• Provide scientific support for Med Info inquiries.
• Develop scientific content for medical education initiatives.
• Support Medical Affairs special projects; manage cross-functional relationships.

Requirements:

• PhD, PharmD, MD, or DO required.
• 5 years of experience as an MSL.
• Cardiometabolic therapeutic experience and biotech/pharma Medical Affairs industry experience.
• Strong verbal/written communication; collaboration; ability to interpret scientific data and translate for education/research.
• Ability to identify unmet local/regional medical needs; understand healthcare delivery (including managed care) and research study design/execution.
• Proven results orientation; comfort with ambiguity; strong project and time management; ability to travel.

Pay Range: $190,000 USD - $210,000 USD
