Opportunity:

Physician - Cardiology


Job Details:

  • Coverage needed per month: 2-3 weeks

  • Schedule includes 24-hour call with clinic hours Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • When on hospital call, provider works in clinic Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with full day clinic hours on Tuesday and Thursday

  • Minimal night-time calls expected

  • Support staff includes Technicians and Registered Nurses

  • Responsibilities include evaluation and management of new and established patients, cardiac risk assessment, EKGs, Holter monitor placements, pacemaker checks, supervision of EKGs, treadmill stress tests, nuclear stress testing, TEEs, and Cardioversions

  • Patient volume of 22-24 patients per day; 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for established patients

  • Patient age group: 18 and older

  • Specific skills required: EKG, EKG reads, TEE, and nuclear stress tests

  • West Virginia state license required; IMLC accepted

  • DEA required

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required

  • 6-month engagement with option to extend

  • Travel covered by client
