Opportunity:

Physician - Cardiology


Job Details:

  • Coverage needed 2-3 weeks per month

  • 24-hour call schedule with clinic hours Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM

  • When on hospital call, work in clinic Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM with full clinic days on Tuesday and Thursday

  • Minimal night-time calls expected

  • Support staff includes Techs and RNs

  • Responsible for evaluation and management of new and established patients, cardiac risk assessment, EKGs, Holter monitor placements, pacemaker checks, supervision of EKGs, treadmill stress tests, and nuclear stress testing, TEEs, and Cardioversions

  • Patient volume of 22-24 patients per day with 30 minutes for new patients and 15 minutes for established patients

  • Treating adult patients ages 18 and older

  • Must have skills in EKG, EKG reads, TEE, and nuclear stress tests

  • West Virginia state license required; IMLC accepted

  • DEA required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required

  • Clean background required

  • Travel covered by client
