What You ll Do:
- Provide outpatient cardiology consultations approximately 3 days per week
- Supervise stress tests, approximately 1 day per week (support reading nuclear stress tests if qualified)
- Conduct inpatient cardiology consults and participate in stress lab activities
- Support hospital consult service rotations at Massena and Potsdam facilities
- Participate in on-call coverage from 4 pm to 8 am as needed
- Support clinical workflows and collaborate with other providers to deliver top-tier patient care
What You Need:
- NY State Medical License
- Board Certification in Cardiology
- Epic EMR experience
- AHA or RQI certification
- Minimum 5 years of cardiology experience
- Ability to work independently in a solo practice setting
- Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
About the Assignment:
This role involves working at two facilities in Potsdam, NY Massena Hospital and Canton Potsdam Hospital providing outpatient and inpatient cardiology services, supervising stress tests, and handling hospital consults. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including a preference for a steady 4/4 schedule or two locums working opposite shifts. The start date is flexible to accommodate credentialing timelines.
