POSITION SUMMARY
The organization seeks a Cardiovascular Disease physician to join a multispecialty clinical setting providing weekday inpatient and outpatient cardiology services. The role includes clinic visits, diagnostic interpretation, and participation in telephone only call coverage. The position offers access to on site cardiovascular testing and collaboration with a team of physicians and advanced practice providers.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine and/or Cardiovascular Disease.
• Residency training in Internal Medicine.
• Training or experience in Cardiovascular Disease.
• Eligibility for medical licensure in Oklahoma.
• Ability to interpret echocardiography, stress testing, and nuclear cardiology studies.
COMPETENCIES
• Skill in managing a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Ability to interpret cardiovascular diagnostic studies.
• Capacity to collaborate with physicians and advanced practice providers.
• Effective participation in telephone only call responsibilities.
• Proficiency using industry standard EMR systems.
WORK SETTING & ENVIRONMENT
Work Environment: Hospital; Inpatient; Outpatient; Clinic/Private Practice
• Multispecialty clinical environment with physician and APP support.
• Weekday clinic schedule with optional outreach activities.
• On site access to echocardiography, stress testing, nuclear imaging, and vascular studies.
• Telephone only call rotation supported by centralized call services.
• Use of industry standard EMR and modern diagnostic tools.
