Job Details- Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,840 - $8,110
- Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin
- Setting: Hospital service / inpatient cardiology
- Start Date: ASAP
- Duration: 48 weeks
- Shifts per Week: 5
- Shift Duration: 8-hour days
- Schedule: 8:00am - 5:00pm with on-call coverage from 5:00pm - 8:00am
- Call Requirement: Yes, 1:4 call ratio
- Patient Volume: Average of 10 patients per shift
- Patient Population: Adult and geriatric
- Documentation System: EPIC with dictation and voice recognition
- Board Certification in General Cardiology required
- Cardiovascular Fellowship completion required
- Echo boards required
- At least 1 year of experience in General Cardiology preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Active Wisconsin medical license preferred
- Strong skills in ECG interpretation and echocardiography reading
- Provide inpatient cardiology coverage for a hospital service
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult and geriatric cardiology patients
- Interpret ECGs, echocardiograms, and other cardiovascular studies
- Participate in daytime coverage and overnight on-call responsibilities
- Collaborate with RNs, APPs, and the clinical care team to support patient care
- Document patient encounters accurately using EPIC, dictation, and voice recognition tools
- Support timely admissions, consultations, and follow-up care as needed
