Opportunity:

Physician - Cardiology


Job Details:

  • Provide general cardiology coverage at a Cardiovascular Institute, seeing 18-24 patients per day

  • Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

  • Overtime may be required after the scheduled shift as needed

  • Patient population is primarily adults aged 60 and older

  • Perform cardiac catheterization procedures for own patients

  • Support staff includes MAs, PCTs, Nurses, and PA support for in-house coverage

  • EMR system used is Cerner

  • Strong interpersonal and relational skills with staff and patients preferred

  • Board Certification in Cardiology required

  • Active AZ license or IMLC Letter of Qualification required

  • ACLS and BLS certifications required

  • Minimum 2 years of experience required

With 87 beds and a daily census of 16-20 patients, the organization is committed to delivering high-quality care to the surrounding community.
