Position Highlights
Haywood Regional Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Invasive Cardiologist to join Western Carolina Cardiology . This is a rare opportunity to step into an established, busy practice with immediate patient volume as you assume the practice of a respected retiring cardiologist.
Practice Features
Hospital-employed position with Haywood Regional Medical Center , a Duke Lifepoint hospital
Immediate access to an established patient base with strong referral relationships
Collaborative, experienced cardiology team with mentorship available
Ability to perform:
Diagnostic cardiac catheterizations
Pacemaker implantation
Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
Nuclear cardiology
Echocardiography
Average clinic volume of 16-20 patients per day
Consultative practice with excellent primary care referral network
Shared cardiology call for excellent work-life balance
Dedicated Advanced Practice Provider and RN support in the outpatient clinic
Hospital-based APP support to assist with inpatient care
Modern facilities with an experienced clinical and administrative support team
