Cardiology PA Locums Job in Michigan 7 Days On, 7 Days Off 1/4/2027 - 6/4/2027 Assignment

Estimated credentialing time frame: 90-120 days

Shift Details
Two weeks per month with 7 days on and 7 days off, Sunday through Saturday
Day shifts from 7:30am to 4pm
Weekend coverage required
No overnight or on-call coverage

Requirements
Board certified
Three or more years of prior cardiology experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
Active Michigan license at the time of name clear
BLS, ACLS
Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
Acute care trained - Highly Preferred

Assignment Details
Facility hiring multiple candidates
Inpatient, hospital-based practice setting
Patient population is 100% adult, including geriatric patients
Practice mix is 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient
The majority of the role involves staffing with physicians for inpatient rounding
Average daily volume is 20-25 patients based on the inpatient list
EMR: Epic
Facility Trauma Level: Level II
Leadership and teaching responsibilities are included
Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service
Provide discharge instructions
Manage post-procedure care
