General Cardiologist Locum Need Coastal South Carolina Coverage Dates

  • Start Date: 11/9/2026

  • Ongoing locum coverage

  • Backfill coverage need

Schedule

  • 7 days on

  • Coverage runs Monday 7a Monday 7a

  • Call required throughout the 7-day coverage period

  • Night Call: 5p 7a daily

  • Weekend Call: Friday 5p Monday 7a

  • 36 guaranteed hours

Practice Setting

  • General / Non-Invasive Cardiology

  • Inpatient coverage

  • Coverage across two nearby hospital locations

  • No trauma designation

  • EMR: Epic

Patient Volume

  • Primary hospital overall inpatient census: Approximately

  • Secondary hospital overall census: Approximately per day

  • Inpatient Cardiology cases at the secondary location are very limited

  • STEMI patients are managed by Interventional Cardiology

Responsibilities

  • General Cardiology consults

  • Inpatient rounding

  • TEE

  • Cardioversions

  • Stress test supervision

  • Night and weekend call coverage

  • Provide coverage across two nearby hospital locations during the 7-day coverage period

  • Weekend morning stress testing may be required

Procedures

  • TEE

  • Cardioversions

  • Stress test supervision

  • Weekend stress testing

Requirements

  • MD or DO

  • Cardiology fellowship required

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible within 5 years

  • State License: Not specified
