Opportunity:

Physician - Internal Medicine - Invasive Cardiology


Job Details:

  • Provide inpatient/outpatient coverage with hospital onsite, clinic, and call responsibilities

  • Coverage needed for 1-2 weeks including 1-2 weekends, with flexible scheduling coordinated with the clinic team

  • Shift hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM onsite with weeknight beeper call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 AM

  • Weekend coverage consists of 24-hour beeper call

  • Minimum of 7-14 shifts per month required with 8 guaranteed hours per day

  • Expected patient volume of 7-9 encounters per shift

  • Experience required with cardioversion, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs), and stress echocardiograms

  • Must be proficient in reading echocardiograms, EKGs, and stress echocardiograms

  • Nuclear reads are preferred but not required

  • Board certification required; fellowship training required

  • Active state license and active DEA required

  • Required certifications include BLS and ACLS

  • Providers will undergo a phone screening with the lead physician followed by a virtual team interview
