Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner, Cardiology applies advanced education and clinical competencies within the cardiology specialty to achieve optimal patient outcomes. The Nurse Practitioner works on problems ranging from moderate to substantial complexity, diagnosing and treating acute cardiac conditions, prescribing medication, examining patients, and providing treatment. They advise executives on strategies and exercise independent judgment to determine the best course of action with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
Provide health promotion and maintenance, diagnose and treat acute cardiac conditions, prescribe medication, examine patients, advise executives on functional strategies, exercise independent judgment on complex issues, and work under minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8 or more years of technical experience
- At least 2 years working as a Nurse Practitioner in a cardiovascular practice
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in the appropriate state
- Passion for improving consumer experiences
- Willingness to participate in limited on‑call coverage by phone
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters in Science of Nursing / PA
Work Hours
40 hours per week (Scheduled Weekly Hours)
Pay Range
$123,800 - $170,300 per year. This range may vary based on location and individual qualifications. The position also qualifies for a bonus incentive plan based on company or individual performance.
