Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (PA/NP)

Location: Cardiology Clinic, Renton, WA Shift: Full Time, 4/10 or 5/8 shifts (as needed in inpatient and clinic settings) FTE: 1.0 Hours: Hospital inpatient coverage and outpatient clinic coverage Salary: $140,000 – $155,000 (based on experience)

About the Position

The Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will partner with the on‑call cardiologist to provide follow‑up care in the hospital and occasional coverage in the Cardiology clinic located on the main VMC Hospital campus. The role involves managing inpatient care responsibilities and maintaining a patient‑centered, team‑based approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Provide follow‑up patient care in the inpatient setting.
• Respond to calls, Voalte messages, and rounding responsibilities.
• Work as a dyad partner with the on‑call cardiologist.
• Schedule may be structured as 4/10 or 5/8 shifts, with first‑contact text messages for inpatient coverage.
• Average of 8–15 patients seen per day.
• Provide outpatient clinic coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Medical professional license in the State of Washington.
• DEA registration with full prescriptive authority.
• At least one year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in Cardiology (strongly preferred).
