Cardiology Advanced Practice Provider
Location: Wilmington, NC
What You'll Do
- Deliver the most remarkable patient experience in all dimensions, every time.
- Provide general cardiology care, women's heart health programs, and treatment of complex or rare cardiac conditions.
- Perform or assist with heart and vascular tests and surgical and non‑surgical treatment options, including prevention, medication management, pacemaker implantation, minimally invasive repairs and open‑heart surgery.
- Work collaboratively in a team environment that values diversity, inclusion, teamwork, and patient‑centered care.
- Maintain a safe patient environment guided by the principle of "First Do No Harm".
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s Degree required. Graduate of an NCCPA‑accredited physician assistant program, or NP or post‑Master’s NP program required.
- Experience: One to three years in cardiology preferred.
- Licensure/Certification: Current PA or NP license in the appropriate state; NCCPA or state nursing board registry; ACLS, BLS, and DEA registry required.
- Skills: Successful completion of generic and department‑specific competency testing; thorough knowledge of diagnosis, pharmacology, physical assessment, and chronic illness management; strong verbal and written communication; basic computer skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively; problem‑solving, decision‑making, creative thinking; dedication to patient rehabilitation and self‑care.
